Sontu LDA processes personal data within the scope of its commercial activity. The management of such data is carried out in accordance with the current law. The terms of data management are presented in this document and will be treated upon the unequivocal consent of the data owner.

The Scope of our Privacy Policy

The present Privacy Policy covers the website www.sontu.pt, with the objective to inform all its users regarding the implemented general rules on data processing, within the scope of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Sontu LDA respects Users` privacy and processes their personal data in accordance to the present laws. The ultimate goal is to ensure that the management of personal data is lawful, fair, transparent and limited to the authorized purposes.

What does data processing consists of?

The processing of personal data consists of all operations conducted on personal data, namely collection, registration, organization, structuring, storing, adaptation, recovery, consultation, utilization, disclosure, dissemination, comparison, interconnection, limitation, erasure or destruction.

What information do we collect?

Sontu LDA asks the user for information in order to process orders, invoicing and accounting. The data owner makes a prior registration, where he/she enters name and e-mail to create an account. In this account, the following data will be grouped into names, e-mails, full addresses, tax information and contact number in our system. These information are collected on a voluntary basis, for which are necessary to be entered on the platform by the data owner. Similarly, all orders placed are registered. The data provided are used for the purpose of order processing, invoicing, and accounting.

There is also other information to be collected involuntarily by the platform, such as, IP address, dates and duration of access to the platform, pages and products viewed, unfinished shopping carts, favourite products, type of browser and device used to access the website, searches carried out or location of the user. All these information are compiled anonymously to obtain relevant statistical data. In case you contact Sontu LDA by telephone, we may also collect personal information if necessary, and for the interest of both parties, for example, for orders made through telephone, or to indicate further information at the customer`s request.

Who can access your personal data?

Sontu LDA may share the personal data collected for the purpose of complying with legal obligations, namely with judicial, tax and regulatory entities.

All data processed by Sontu LDA can be accessed by the store directors, while some can be accessed by employees or collaborators to exercise their functions. For example, for order processing and invoicing, Sontu LDA employees may have access to names, addresses, tax data, purchases made, telephone number, among others.

Some data may be accessed by companies hired by Sontu LDA to comply with legal obligations, such as invoicing data that will be transmitted to the accounting company and Tax system.

The data may also be accessed by collaborators and external companies with which Sontu LDA maintains partnerships, such as, the maintenance of the website.

We may send information regarding products and services from Sontu LDA that may or may not be of interest to you, for marketing purposes. Nevertheless, you may always chose to cancel the subscription.

This protocol aims to prevent a malicious agent from intercepting the information. It is a digital protocol used worldwide for the transmission of sensitive data e guarantees their safety during transfer.

Sontu LDA. The provision of data is optional and, at any time, the data owner can request its portability, consultation, alteration or cancellation through email geral@sontu.pt.

Access and correction of information

If necessary, you can request the correction or removal of information that is not updated, in order to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of your personal data.

What are the rights of the data owner?

We guarantee the right to access, rectify, update, limit and delete your personal data, except when the data are indispensable for the provision of services or compliance with legal obligations. The right to oppose the use of that data for commercial purposes and the withdrawal of consent, without compromising the lawfulness of the treatment carried out under that consent, as well as the right to data portability.
