General Acceptance Policy

Any person, individually or collectively, who wish to access this website and/or hire/purchase services/products provided by Sontu LDA, can do so as long as they accept the applicable Terms and Conditions, as well as all other rules and principles that govern the use of this website and the contracting of the contents, products or services offered by Sontu LDA. The acceptance of these Terms and Conditions are mandatory and binding. If the visitor does not accept them, he/she will not be able to access any part of the website. Sontu LDA reserves the right to modify, unilaterally, the Terms and Conditions, with the new wording becoming binding as soon as it is published on the website or from the moment the user becomes aware of it, depending on what occurs first.

Registration and personal account

In order to place orders on the website it is mandatory the registration through the completion of the available form.

The costumer takes responsibility on the veracity of the data entered and Sontu LDA takes responsibility towards the privacy and security of the personal data of its clients, ensuring its utilization only for processing deliveries purpose.

Sontu LDA may occasionally use its customers` e-mail to inform them of novelties, promotions and special offers.

Shipping orders

Sontu LDA does not guarantee the shipment of all registered orders. Orders are registered and depending on the location, customer requirements and minimum quantities are shipped until a maxium of 8 working days after payment, expect for rare occasions such as stock outs, or exceptional and unpredictable circumstances.

The delivery of goods will only be made to clients with registered account in our system. For more information regarding registration, the client should contact Sontu LDA by e-mail or telephone provided in the contacts section.

In exceptional situations, Sontu LDA commits to deliver the ordered goods as soon as possible.

Order processing and delivery timeline

Order will only be processed following payment confirmation.

All orders placed after 1 p.m. will be processed on the following working day, upon payment confirmation.

The orders will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer when placing the order. The client is responsible for the correct introduction and update of the shipping and billing address

Shipping methods

Sontu LDA offers a delivery service for all orders eligible for delivery in the Lisbon area. Orders outside Lisbon are made by our freight transport partners.

Liability, damage or loss of orders

For orders where Sontu LDA offers delivery service to, after delivery of the order, Sontu LDA is not responsible for any damage or loss of goods. For orders outside Lisbon, Sontu LDA is not responsible for total or partial losses, damages or delays resulting from transport.

Order damage

Upon delivery of the order, check the condition of the package. In case of order damage, you should also send an e-mail to geral@sontu.pt to report the occurrence, on the same day or the next working day. Any claim can only be considered valid when properly duly indicated to the driver at the time of delivery and confirmed via email or telephone. If these procedures are not met, Sontu LDA assumes no responsibility to the claimed damages.

We remind you that when you accept the order, it is considered to be in good condition.

Returns

The customer has a legal period of 10 working days from the day the order is received to return an item purchased online.

Return acceptance is subject to the following conditions:

- Maximum period of 10 working days after receiving the order;

- The returned item must be in the state in which it was delivered, unused or unopened, in the original box and with all accessories included;

- Only items that have not undergone any price change or are not discontinued can be returned;

- If the item is defective or due to shipping error;

- Returns of products specifically cut, sold by the meter, or personalized are not accepted.

Product availability

The stock and availability of products commercialised at Sontu LDA may run out without notice. In such case, Sontu LDA will contact the customer in order to replace or return the value of the products ordered.

Simplified invoices or with Tax Identification Number (TIN)

To request an invoice with a taxpayer number, you must indicate your TIN when ordering. If this information is not included in your order process, you will receive a simplified invoice, and it is not possible to issue a new invoice.

If the TIN was entered incorrectly, a simplified invoice will be issued.

For orders over 1000€, it is mandatory to place the TIN on the invoice.

Photos and images of articles

Due to the different calibrations of computer monitors and mobile devices, the colors of the delivered products may not match the images.

Responsibilities of the customer

It is the client`s duty to act in good faith in the various actions carried out at Sontu LDA, respecting all applicable legislation, namely with regard to the Code of Civil and Commercial Law, Code of Copyright and Related Rights, Code of Industrial Property and Computer Crime Law.

The customer is responsible for all decision making with regard to the Order and Purchase act, based on the information available on the Sontu LDA website.

The customer agrees not to use or provide us with any content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, unusual or offensive, infringes on another person`s intellectual property or that violates any part of this agreement. You also agree not to provide any content that is false or to use our services in a misleading and fraudulent manner.

Notwithstanding these procedures regarding the order process, Sontu LDA reserves the right to confirm the order by e-mail, if deemed necessary, using the data provided by the customer.

The User or Client, undertakes to respect the present Conditions of Use and assume responsibility for damages that may result from failure to comply with the conditions described above.

Responsibilities of Sontu LDA

Sontu LDA does not take responsibility for any delay, suspension or interruption in the supply of products caused by situations beyond its responsibility, namely due to lack of supply or continuity of manufacturer`s product, changes in supply conditions or the characteristics of the products.

Sontu LDA reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. The changes made will be published on our website, accessible to all customers before placing any order.

In this context, it is recommended that the customer carefully read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, whenever using our website, since its use implies user`s acceptance of the changes.

Dispute Management

It is advisable to resolve complaints directly with Sontu LDA by emailing geral@sontu.com.
